Photographer from Catania, always passionated about art, approaches self-taught photography, quickly reaching an internationally recognized mastery and witnessed by the innumerable prizes and photographic competitions won both in Italy and abroad. Bonaccorsi's shots have the undisputed ability to capture moments capable of evoking deep and engaging emotions, through the attentive eye capable of capturing hidden details, or the vastness and overwhelming force of nature, or of transforming objects and scenes of daily life in artistic representations able to rekindle sleepy memories, feelings of joy, light-heartedness, melancholy and moments of emotional intensity. In fact, Bonaccorsi's shots are not only representations, but also re-elaborations of reality in the photographer's dream vision, obtained either by graphically re-elaborating the image, or by using filters to enhance or exclude certain colors, or by creating original artistic compositions, all characterized by harmony compositional and chromatic and from the symmetry of the forms, which manage to set a click within an imaginative frame that is fixed in the mind of the observer and where the composition of shapes, light and colors reconstructs the perfect but at the same time compelling balance of nature and of creation and of all those moments of life that filling our souls deserve to be remembered and relived.

 

Appreciated unanimously by specialized critics, Bonaccorsi has obtained countless awards and prizes awarded in national and international competitions and reviews, and has participated in exhibitions set up both in Italy and abroad, many of which were organized by the International Academy of Dioscuri of Taranto. Among all, we briefly mention the 1st International Art Biennial of Palermo curated by Paolo Levi and Sandro Serradifalco and inaugurated by Vittorio Sgarbi, the 1st Arte Catania Prize curated by Paolo Levi, "Romart 2015" 1st International Art Biennale and Culture of Rome, curated by Amedeo Demitry.

"AEOLIAN COMPOSITION", awarded in numerous national and international competitions, shot in Filicudi at a local house, in which the essentiality of the space is dominated by the intensity of the color of the wall and by the involuntary geometry of the net to dry food, giving an original scenic and pictorial effect to the shot and transforming a glimpse of pure everyday life into a work of art of great emotional impact. "STILL NATURE n.3": On a colored and antique background, two simple colored glass bottles are combined with the black obsidian stone, giving life to a harmonious and almost pictorial composition; finalist work on the "Aphrodite Award 2014" section "Psyche Award - Superconscious Creativity" for its alchemical meaning; in fact the black stone is a symbol of the superconscious fantasy, that is the ability of the individual to free himself from the rigid imposed schemes and social models to discover his own latent gifts and abilities and the most hidden aspects of his personality, usually repressed and suffocated by daily conditionings and from socio-cultural and religious obligations; qualities and meanings that the artist, thanks to his innate perceptive abilities, manages to mediate through symbols, shapes and colors.

 

"FLY AWAY": the splendid shot of the bird of prey caught in flight, opposes the cloudy background, deliberately gray and gloomy, representing a liberating escape from a situation of negativity, explaining the wings towards new horizons of freedom
