Self-taught painter, born in Frankfurt but of Sicilian origin and since a decade adopted by our land, approached art through an instinctual and unconventional talent and out of the ordinary originality and expressive capacity. The works of Patrizia Commendatore are the expression of an informal material style, where what is represented is not the reality in its usual and well-known forms and lines, but an inner dimension expressed through the free use of colors and pictorial doughs that unexpectedly combine with heterogeneous materials, representing the material understood as indistinct force and loads of explosive vital energy, which are not enclosed within the limited and limiting confines of the "form". The works thus created become not simply representations of a subject, but are transformed into a living, pulsating, palpable organism,, where the elements of more disparate origin emerge from the canvas making the emotions something visible and tangible, and colors, laid in layers with hands, fingers, spatulas or other tools, assume corporeal life. It is so that in her paintings Patrizia Commendatore pours a harmonious blaze of intense, bright, brilliant, both hot and cold colors, all masterfully blended in rhinestones, paper, glitters, glass fragments, feathers, which take body and life becoming impulses and energies that dominate our existence, or push us to a flight into the infinity where to regenerate our forces and our soul. In this way, through her works Patrizia Commendatore takes us on a wonderful journey within our feelings and states of deep and universal feelings: joy of life, energy, harmony, passion, madness, vertigo, in a whirl of colors through which to wander without limits into space, time and inexhaustible imagination.

In a few years of painting activity Patrizia has already exhibited in numerous both collective and personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad: above all, we remember exposures to Poliedro Gallery of Trieste (2010), Kafkart Gallery of Messina (2012, 2013), Liaison Gallery in Catania (2016), Charm of Bronte Art Gallery at the Art Styles (2017) Coffee Suden of Frankfurt am Main in Germany (2015, 2016) and at the Hotel Gran Melià Don Pepe at Marbella in Spain (2016), personal "Abstract and Modern" and "the circle of abstraction" in Giarre (2011, 2013), the thirteenth "Art of Painting" organized by the Women's Cultural Artistic Association "Giuseppe Sciuti" in Zafferana Etnea (2015), "Art Sea Expo" at Aquarius in Aci Castello (2015) and many editions of Omnia Arte Festival at the Norman Castle of Aci Castello.

Since September 2016, she has made the scenario for the TV show "Libridine" by Marinella Fiume, aired on "Prima TV Channel".
