ALBERTO PRIVITERA
Amateur photographer from Catania, he begins to approach his passion though an on-line course by the National Geographic, later pursuing a basic course at a Catania photographic club and as self-taught by reading books and journals about photography. He began his practical experience during the popular festivals in Sicily and various journeys, participating in various photo competitions with good results. He’s currently a member of two Catania photographic clubs, of one of which is vice-president, and he has also dedicated himself to teaching in some photography basic courses. He dedicates himself to his passion in leisure time, preferring as subjects of his shots the uncontaminated and wild landscapes of our land, sunrises and sunsets that illuminate and reflect on the most evocative views, the snowy and steaming mount Etna profile, free animals in nature, patronal festivals with their crackling colors, whose "fleeting moment" is cleverly captured and fixed in our eyes by the camera. Quite prepared in the use of photo editing, he only uses it to cover some imperfections, given that, as he himself states, "the photograph must be complete at the time of shooting."
